Actress Lindsay Lohan was infuriated by rumors coming out all over the web that she and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson had broken up. The constant fighting and Sam’s health issues are two of the many reasons for various sources to point to a split between them, but there is no truth to these rumors. Lindsay and Samantha are still happily doing it and will continue fighting! That’s what healthy couples do, they fight all the time!

TMZ was the first to report Lindsay and Sam were officially over. So Lindsay uses her MySpace again to set the record straight and hopefully put an end to all the rumors.

The Travolta family, John Travolta, Kelly Preston and Ella, is mourning the loss of their son and brother. They have been through a lot, from blaming their belief in Scientology on Jett Travolta’s death to the possibility that he could have been left unattended for more than 10 hours. They finally released a very emotional statement in both John and Kelly’s official websites, followed by some exclusive family photos.

“We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences. Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. According to Fox News, Dr. Cyril Wecht, the pathologist who performed the autopsy on Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel, in 2007, says Jett’s autopsy results may never be released to the public since in normal circumstances, like accidents, the family has the right to keep it private. On the other hand a funeral home official says in Jett’s death certificate the cause of death is listed as “seizure”.

Again our thoughts and prayers go out to the family for their terribly loss.

Update: The Travolta family returned home to Florida, according to USA today:

Bahamian parliament member Obie Wilchcombe said the couple left the islands Monday night after receiving an urn with Jett’s ashes. Funeral plans have not been announced.

Actress Eva Mendes is the new cover girl for Latina Magazine (December 2008/January 2009). Her new movie “The Spirit” is out now and Eva confesses the writer/director Frank Miller, says the actress infused her character with “Cuban fire” but she doesn’t want to be stuck with a stereotype. She wants to be considered more than just a sexy Latina actress and I think she actually proved herself with her talent.

As for the beefs between “The Spirit” sexy stars, Scarlett Johansson, Jamie King, Paz Vega and herself, Eva insists they are nothing but rumors: “I know how people like to believe that, but it’s a very sexist way of thinking. Nobody ever asks that when men work together in an ensemble cast. I’ve been in the business 10 years and I’ve never had a negative situation with another actress - ever.”

Eva is also happy she was a grown up woman and knew what she wanted before getting in the showbiz: “I just thank my lucky stars for that. Germany’s largest drugs wholesaler, Merckle and Ratiopharm, did not escape the financial crisis and reportedly this was the reason behind its owner’s, Adolf Merckle, suicide. The Billionaire inherited the company from his grandfather and when he couldn’t handle the pressure anymore he just stood in front of a train, according to Reuters.

“The desperate situation of his companies caused by the financial crisis, the uncertainties of the last few weeks and his powerlessness to act, have broken the passionate family entrepreneur and he took his own life,” a family statement said.

State prosecutors from the southern city of Ulm said Merckle, 74, left work on Monday and died after being hit by a train near the town of Blaubeuren. He left behind a suicide note to his family, they added.

This situation has aggravated the company’s situation. Although this should be a time of mourning to the family, they have a lot on their hands at this moment. Our thoughts and prayers go out for the loss of their leader Adolf Merckle.

On another note, psychologists have suggested the financial crisis could lead to an increase of suicide rates all over the world. Let’s just hope the crisis can end quickly and preferably with no more victims.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell welcomed twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, on December 28th, according to Knocked Up Celebs.

Howard Stern was the first to announce the birth of the babies on his Monday Sirius morning show.

“They had twin girls, Dolly and Charlie,” Stern said. “Rebecca likes Dolly Parton, so they named the one after Dolly Parton, and Jerry got to name the other one Charlie, but his brother’s name is Charlie — and it’s a girl Charlie.”

Rebecca’s rep says both parents and babies are home and doing well. Poor girls have such long unique names! They will be the last ones to leave class in the future when they have to learn how to spell it!

Justin Gaston and Miley Cyrus are joined at the hip, they go everywhere together (even to church!) and it seems like he is now somehow a part of the Cyrus family. I still cannot understand why Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus would let their 16 year-old teenage daughter date a young man. It just seems kind of creepy to me (like her headband matching his shirt!).

I can see why Justin wants to mingle with the Cyrus family to launch a country music career but why responsible parents would let him take advantage of their good will by not leaving their precious daughter alone. Miley and Justin were recently seen on a shopping spree in Nashville and apparently she wants to tattoo his initials on her body! Cheesy!!!

Less than one month after checking herself into Promises rehab center, Tara Reid has checked herself out.

“She checked out on Saturday,” says the source. “She’s doing well. The whole family is very positive about this being the new beginning for her.”

When the 33 year old actress and former wild child checked into the “rehab center”, her rep wouldn’t reveal the reason.

In an interview in October, Reid told PEOPLE she was a “social drinker” who enjoyed an occasional glass of wine with friends, but said that her partying days were over.

I just hope whatever was wrong with Tara has been mended so that she may move on with her life and marry her love, French fashion executive of J & Company Julien Jarmoune.

Dance professionals Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff will be doing some boogieing off the dance floor!! The Dancing with the Stars hotties were engaged on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas when Maksim popped the question to his girlfriend of less than six months. Of course the two have worked together for years, but their courtship has been a whirlwind since this summer.

With Charger’s superpower LaDainian Tomlinson sidelined due to a serious groin injury in the second half of the game last night, under-appreciated Darren Sproles had to step up to bring down the Colt’s powerhouse team headed up by NFL MVP Peyton Manning.

Sproles had 105 yards on 23 carries. He had 114 yards rushing last week against Denver. There is a strong chance Sproles will be needed for big yardage again next week. After the game, Tomlinson, who has a groin injury he suffered last week, would not commit either way when asked if he would be ready in the next round. He had five carries for 25 yards before it was decided he couldn’t play any longer.

“Sometimes, you have to trust your guys,” Tomlinson said.

The win puts the 2008 Chargers as the only team in NFL history to qualify for the playoffs after starting 4-8 and the first 8-8 division winner in 23 years.

Rumored new beau Blake Wood was no where to be found, but Amy had no problem making a new guy friend, frolicking around in the sand with an unknown man. Maybe he’s her new drug dealer.

Miley woke sneakers with yellow laces, rolled up ripped jeans, a droopy striped sweater and a messy ponytail. This may be the first time I’ve seen Miley dressing her age- like a girl who just turned 16!!
