Takeru Kobayashi of Japan won Nathan’s fourth of July Hot Dog eating contest for the sixth consecutive year.

Kobayashi consumed 53 3/4 Hot Dogs in 12 minutes to edge out American Joey Chestnut who consumed 52 Dogs.

Kobayashi weighs just a buck-sixty. Chesnut weighed in at 220 pounds. Kobayashi’s mark set a new world record.  Chestnet set the American record in defeat.
