1. Ohio State- OSU passed a big test against #13 ranked Iowa winning 38-17.  Troy Smith threw for 186 yards and 4 touchdowns.  The Buckeyes are now 5-0.  They play Bowling Green next week at home.
2. Auburn- The Auburn Tigers squaked by the South Carolina Gamecocks 24-17. The Tigers continue to be less than impressive.  The Gamecocks had more yards and first downs but Auburn came away with the win.  The Tigers are 5-0.  They play Arkansas next week at home.
3. Southern California- USC won a close game against Washington State 28-22.  USC receiver Steve Smith had 11 catches for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Trojans won the game but WSU had more yards and first downs.  The Trojans are 4-0.  They play Washington next week at home.
4. West Virgina- The Mountaineers were off this weekend. WVU is 4-0.  They play at Mississippi State next Saturday. 
5. Florida- Alabama played Florida close for 3 1/2 quarters before Florida pulled away to win 28-13.  Quarterback Chris Leak threw for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The Gators are 5-0.  They play at #9 LSU next weekend in Baton Rouge.
