Maui Day 5 in Photos
These photos were taken either in Hana or on the road to Hana. The road to Hana is 52 miles long. Simple right? Well it has 630 hairpin turns, 54 one-lane bridges and takes nearly three hours to cover. So why do people dare fate and the dangerous roads? Well the scenary is beautiful. Famous last words usually. The waterfalls are beautiful.
Those waterfalls were just trickling when I was there last month. It hadn’t rained and made for a disappointing “road to Hana” expedition. 4.5 hours to get there…2 back!
