How the Bumpshack Top 5 fared in Week 8
- Ohio State- The Buckeyes had an easy time with conference foe Indiana. They dominated the Hoosiers 44-3. OSU is now 8-0. They play Minnesota at home next weekend.
- Michigan Wolverines- Michigan beat Iowa 20-6 in a game that was pretty close throughout. The Wolverines are now 8-0. They play Northwestern at home next weekend.
- West Virginia- WVU beat UConn 37-11. West Virginia is now 7-0. The Mountaineers play at Louisville in two weeks. This will be an important game and the country will be able to tell how good or how overrated the Mountaineers are.
- USC Trojans- The Trojans were off this weekend. They play at Oregon State next weekend. Southern Cal remains 6-0.
- Louisville Cardinals- The Cards beat a bad Syracuse team 28-13. They will have to play a lot better to win their next game. Louisville rushed for 223 yards in the game compared to the 19 yards that Syracuse gained on the ground. They play #3 ranked West Virginia in two weeks at home. The Cardinals are 7-0.
