How the Bumpshack Top 5 fared in Week 9
- Ohio State- The Buckeyes dominated Minnesota 44-0. OSU is now 9-0. They play at Illinois next weekend.
- Michigan Wolverines- Michigan beat Northwestern 17-3. The Wolverines are now 9-0. They play Ball State at home next weekend.
- West Virginia- WVU was off this weekend. West Virginia is 7-0. The Mountaineers play at Louisville next weekend. This will be an important game and the country will be able to tell how good or how overrated the Mountaineers are.
- USC Trojans- Oregon State defeated the Trojans 33-31 putting an almost certain end to a BCS Championship for USC. They play at Arizona State next weekend. Southern Cal is now 6-1.
- Texas Longhorns- The Longhorns rallied to beat Texas Tech 35-31. The close win could hurt their BCS ranking. Longhorns freshman QB Colt McCoy threw for four touchdowns. Texas plays Oklahoma State at home next weekend. Texas is now 8-1.
