Potential ‘American Idol’ Scandal?

There is a potential American Idol scandal brewing with contestant Antonella Barba regarding a topless beach photo taken with some of her friends. The photo shown above (Antonella is second from the right) shows college age girls having a bit of fun in my opinion. They were probably tanning topless and one of them said lets send a photo to ’so and so’s’ boyfriend.
Barba is the girl who made it to Hollywood week with her best friend who was immature and classless. Wouldn’t it be funny, if out of jealousy, she is the one that leaked the photo?
Antonella is a beautiful young lady who is also a very gifted singer. She has the potential to go far in the competition. The Idol website lists her musical influences as Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, JoJo and Christina Aguilera. Her hero is Walt Disney and she is known for winning eating competitions.

she sucks anyways so i dont think it will hurt her much. im very surprised she wasnt cut on wed. if anything it will probably help her get through a couple more weeks. however, she doesnt look like “idol” material for young girls. who care if you tan topless anyways!

They need to deal with this issue because by not doing so they are allowing a double-standard.
The biggest American Idol story circulating is about alleged photos of American Idol semi-finalist Antonella Barba that show her engaged in some very un-Idol like behavior. Earlier this week, some of the search engines started to report on spikes in searches for Antonella Barba. While early speculation revolved around her being one of the most popular contestants, the searches were likely the result of revealing photos that were just starting to surface on message boards and blogs.
The American Idol discussion boards are censoring anyone who makes a post commenting that they are offended or outraged by Barba’s behavior. The posts and/or entire threads disappear in a matter of minutes, and going there to say you think she has tarnished the AI show will likely get you banned.
I can’t imagine why they would not let the fans of the show express their displeasure with her disgusting actions. She needs to be booted off the show immediately and make an apology to the WWII veterans’ families for desecrating their memorial.

i gotta say, wtf is the big deal?? omg so she’s had sex before! shocking for a girl her age! i’m sure all or most of the other girls (and guys) on AI have had sex too, the only difference is that there’s pics of her doing it. in a country/society that makes a damn good dime on the ’sex’ factor in entertainment, they sure are prudish when it comes to stuff like this, so she’s not a virgin and fooled around with girls (as a LOT of girls do), geez move on already…and for the record, i wonder if there were sex pics of a guy on AI would he receive the same crap treatment for it huh?
