Pacman Jones Criminal Record
Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones is the poster child for everything that is wrong with the NFL. NFL teams continue to draft thugs and convicts without regarding for their moral character or criminal record. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is considering a proposal where NFL players will be kicked out of the league after three strikes.
Here is a rap sheet look at all of Pacman’s brushes with the law since joining the NFL’s Tennessee Titans:
July 13, 2005- Arrested and charged with assault and felony vandalism after a nightclub altercation. This began Pacman Jones NFL rap sheet. He already had a lengthy one from high school and college.
September 5, 2005- Adam was invited to attend the Nashville Sports Council Kickoff Luncheon. Jones went off on a verbal tirade while being told to wait for his car after the event. He then refused to tip the valet service.
October 2005- State of West Virginia filed a petition stating that Jones had not been contacting his probation officer and that he had not reported his July 2005 arrest. The judge extended the probation for just 90 days.
March 23, 2006- Charged with marijuana possession in Fayetteville, Georgia. He went on to claim that he knew how to beat the NFL’s drug test.
August 25, 2006- Arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication after being ordered by the cops to leave a Murfreesboro night club several times. Jones claimed a woman stole his wallet. The woman claimed that Jones spat on her. The judge in the case gave Pacman six months probation and told him to stay away from the club.
October 26, 2006- Jones was issued a citation for misdemeanor assault after a female student from Tennessee State University claimed that Jones spit in her face at a Nashville night club.
Feburary 19, 2007- The facts are disputed and no charges have been made yet, but Jones was in the middle of a fight and shooting at a strip club in Las Vegas that left one man paralyzed and two more wounded. The fight broke out after Jones showered strippers on stage with $81,000 dollars. The club owner claims Jones was beating a strippers head against the bar while claiming to kill one of the club’s employees.
January 3, 2008- Pacman is accused of punching Wanda S. Jackson in the face at an Atlanta strip club called the Body Tap Strip Club. Jackson says Jones reached over the counter and sucker punched her in her left eye.
October 8, 2008- Jones got into an alcohol related incident which turned into a physical confrontation with bodyguards that had been assigned to him by the Dallas Cowboys. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended Jones indefinitely for the second time in his NFL career.
The above time line doesn’t include his sentence of one year in prison for a bar fight in Morgantown, West Virginia while in college. The sentence was later suspended in exchange for two years of probation (because he is a really good football player).
Here is a look at the options the Tennessee Titans have if they decide to cut Pacman Jones. He doesn’t only need to be cut, but Jones needs to serve some time. He has been given preferential treatment his entire life because he is good at playing football.

I am deeply concerned about Pacman. He has the ability to change the outcome of any game. I’m afraid that The NFL is going to make an example of him. A lot of people forget that he HAS NOT been convicted of any crime. If The NFL suspends Pac I hope it will make him realize that there are more important things than hanging out with his homeboys. The most important thing in his life should be his daughter and nothing else.
All I can say is “Wow”. I’ve been a huge football fan (NFL Especially) since before this guy was born. (And probably most of you). My team is the Oakland Raiders, who will be my horse forever even if they never win another race. Part of the allure of the Raiders for me was their ability to take every troublemaker and headcase in the league that everyone else had given up on and make them popular, efficient, and in most cases respected players again.
This guy is far beyond all of that. He makes even the Raiders of the 70s and 80s look like choirboys.
He’s a multiple felon, violent woman beater and abuser with drug problems and attitude problems that spawn violent tendencies towards everyone. All these people saying “he’s troubled, had a hard life, still young, blah blah blah, it was his upbringing, etc” are all full of bull.
As far as the NFL making an example out of him, that’s EXACTLY what they need to do. They gave him the biggest helping hand EVER when they allowed him to enter the draft. I’ve seen interviews with a lot of coaches and officials including Steve Mariucci who had all interviewed Jones at the NFL Combine and thought he was “past his legal disgretions and worth giving a shot to because his interviews went so good”. Humbug, it’s amazing with speech coaches and agents can do for a guy about to be a millionaire.
Bottom line is, I’ve never seen any place I’ve ever worked where you could have this many brushes with the law and keep your job. Not even McDonalds. As a business owner, if any of my employees would ever have 1/3 this amount of legal brushes, they would be gone and I would be right for doing it. And my business isn’t even NEAR the size of the NFL.
There are millions of kids everywhere that have talent and DESERVE a shot…are willing to EARN a shot…and not jack it off trying to live some 50 Cent or Tupac dream showing everyone they’re the hardest and have the bucks to back it up.
I grew up poor and so did everyone I knew then, none of us were ever handed a million dollars, but I’m certain it would have fixed all of our problems and none of us would be willing to sacrifice it just to show our old friends that we’re still “hard”. You’re a professional athlete with a tremendous career…not a gangbanger give it a rest.
This isn’t just limted to Adam Jones, I think it’s a stand that Comissioner Goodell should take for EVERYONE. He has a business to run, and regardless of what team you play for, at the end of the day you play for Goodell’s team and nobody else.
Sorry for the long rant, but people need to understand that these guys get wisked through school, college, every event of their lives if they play good enough and are made to believe at a very early age that this is their birthright, it’s going to be there no matter what and cover up the indiscretions to keep it that way.
No, it’s EARNED and you have to EARN it everyday of your lives or lose it…that’s the REAL way of the world.

Deep inside PacMan is hurting.I am making no excuses for his alledged behavior,but I know there is great hope for him by the grace of God and love of Jesus Christ.
If his suspension is upheld or not it is not a good thing to just give up on another human being.God has had mercy and grace on all that is counting him as a hopless case,the only differnce with him and some of you is that no one know you well enough to publish your messes in the paper or report it on the news,

Pacman is lucky he has not been convicted.. But isn’t it ironic how he is always involved in some sort of situation resulting in bad behavior and probation? The people that support him are probably con-men and criminals just like him. Always trying to get away with something.

Yes, I was SO disappointed when Jenna Bush didn’t marry Adam. He has become such a pillar of society. Who among us doesn’t occasionally take $81,000.00 to a titty bar? And couldn’t it just as easily been YOU that was arrested 10 times in one year? Sure, he incites an occasional melee by spitting on people, but who doesn’t? He’s just one of those poor, unfortunate souls that seems to have shootings and stabbings happen where ever he goes. This, despite his squeeky clean image and virtuous lifestyle. For those that feel a need to reference skin color in their comments, I feel sorry for you. Judge a man by his actions, not his race. That said, until this man goes back to Vegas and offers some assistance to the bouncer who is paralyzed because of his actions, then everything he does and says is a joke. His words mean nothing. Jones is a sociopathic criminal.
As far as the pastor who posted above that he is praying for Jones, I think his heart is in the right place. But I find it curious that he made no reference to praying for the people who have been victimized by Adam Jones’ criminal behavior. Is he praying for the fellow I mentioned above?
The criminal mentality and cheapness of life that permeates society now is a tragedy, and ultimately serves no one, including those who engage in it. If Adam Jones really wants to show that he has changed his path in life, then instead of publicizing name changes and apologies, which are just words, he should reach out to the victims of his actions and try to help them. In my mind, he is a criminal and a fraud. And deserves nothing.

Also, after reading these posts I’ve discovered two groups of idiots that are at least on the same level as Pacman: 1) Those that say, “alegedly, he hasn’t been convicted of anything.” Get real retards. Once or twice maybe, but not as often as this joker. Where there’s smoke… 2) And those that say, “it’s because he’s black.” Seriously? What year are you living in? I don’t know that many black people, but I’ve met plenty of idiots. So apparently skin color is not a factor in determing intellect. Your narrow-minded assumptions make Pacman’s apparent decision to throw away a great thing seem genius.
The real question is, will Roger Goodell stick by his word? He laid out boundries for Pacman, and hitting a member of the Cowboy’s staff clearly doesn’t fall within them. The integrity of the NFL, not just the Cowboys, or Pacman, is on the line here. But, then again, the NFL is a profit venture. Why did it take a week for the suspension to kick in (See: Cardinals 8-2 at home in new stadium. See: 5 tackles, which is about his average)?
Conviction or no (and thier won’t be, seeing as how there is no Police report), he acted out of line. Slaps on the wrist are seemingly becoming a thing of the past (See: Vick).
So race, team support or feelings on criminal justice aside, the fact is Goodell set a bar for Pacman, and Pacman didn’t rise to the occassion. Let his advisors create some pie charts on dollars and cents lost if he is banned from the league.

It’s so funny how easy it is for people to condem a man or woman when they are in the spot light. Truth is if pacman couldnt play football or anything he would be thrown to the wolves. Before his nfl career he was created in the image Of God and that has not changed. So all of you who like pointing fingers and calling names just remember the way you judge someone else you will have the same measure. Mr. Jones is still a human being, regardless of what he has done or not he is still a human being. For those of you who say good riden becarful because these same words could apply to you one day. He has not overcome his raising. He obviously loves alcohol, strip clubs, verbally abusing people, hanging with those that feed his ego and I would bet my next paycheck he has tried a drug or two! Too much too fast mixed with anger and the inability to have any self control will destroy him. The best chance he has for a healthy life is to be kicked out of the NFL. I have enjoyed watching him and I love the game. It is such a shame to see this happen to someone so talented but I would rather see him not play and stay out of trouble. i agree with the comments that most of you have made. the thing is that being pampered throughout your life makes you exactly what pac man jones has become. you can not create a monster or a vicious dog, and then turn your back on them when they bite. unfortunately that is what the nfl and every other sport does. hell that is exactly what the world does. creates a monster to perform for them and then when the monster reacts on his/her own its all his/her fault. kind of like a burn notice…you can be a good animal, but only for me. even with the types of postings i see it is all about being banned from football. week in week out yeare in year out we all forget that these people are people. we are no better than he is if all we see is him as a bad football player. as for the attitude problem and the “hard” attitude, we forget we have only seen or known of him for about 3-5 years of his entire 20 whatever years. there is a life that some people are forced to live growing up. you are not going to change the personality that life made in 4 years. lets take a look at how our country is ran and how it does treat people from different areas. i am by no means giving pac man jones a pass, but you know what lets start with the problems early like with our children in pop warner, remember “hey are what we made them the hate and the evil that we gave them…just as we rise we will fall by the things we create”

I love all the comments about get off his back. Just think if that had been you and you were not in the NFL, would you get that many chances? Better yet, if that was one of your family members that he had abused just because he’s PACMAN, would you forgive him? And Steve got it right, a pastor praying for Pacman, but not his victims; clearly his heart is in the right place.
It comes down to being responsible for your actions, and paying for your transgressions. I’m a African American male and it’s not about color, it’s about star athletes feeling entitled. And the people siding with him are the ones that probably can’t tell right from wrong in their own lives.
