Former American Idol sensation Carrie Underwood took control last night at the Country Music Television Awards (CMT Music Awards) both performing on stage and taking home three awards.

Underwood won for ‘Video of the Year‘, ‘Female Video‘, and ‘Best Video Director‘.

She performed her her hit single ‘Before He Cheats‘.

Original Bumpshacker Luke Laird has been writing with Carrie Underwood and will have a couple of songs on her new album which will be released later this year.
