I don’t think anyone will ever confuse it with Elvis Presley’s 1968 Comeback Special but Britney Spears took the stage last night at the House of Blues in San Diego for the first time in over three years.

The show lasted less than fifteen minutes and consisted entirely of Britney lip syncing and dancing around in her lingerie the entire time.  At one point her and her fellow grinders brought a male from the audience onto stage and gave him a sexy lap dance.

Britney obviously is itching to get back her career but don’t put it on the public stage until it’s fully baked and ready at a top notch level.  I will never understand anyone who pays $125 bucks to watch someone mouth the words to recorded music. It has to be one of Nostradamus’s signs that the end of the world is near.
