Jordin dominates Bee Gees night on ‘Idol’

Thanks to a faulty DVR I missed American Idol last night. Thankfully Lexie at Backseat Cuddler didn’t and was kind enough to give me a complete rundown of the performances last night. Here is how last night went. It looks like KiKi could be gone.
This week’s guest coach, Barry Gibb, thinks the remaining contestants are perfect for his songs because he’s “made a lot of records with ladies.” (Sorry Blake, his words not mine.) Jordin Sparks was the dark horse last night.
Melinda Doolittle B- Predictable, predictable, predictable. Even the judges are starting to become bored with Miss Doolittle. She has the technique down but all of her songs are starting to sound alike.
LaKisha Jones D No kiss last night for Kiki. After a disappointing rendition of “Stayin’ Alive,” Lakisha’s voice gave out on her second song “Run To Me.” What happened to the power singer from ealier this season?
Jordin Sparks A I thought Jordin totally blew it out last night. The judges agreed with me on her first song, “To Love Somebody,” but didn’t seem to be as enthusiastic about her second song, “A Woman in Love,” which I thought was fantastic.
Blake Lewis C Someone needs to tell Blake that his “extra little gifts,” as Gibb dubbed his beatboxing, should be a condiment and not the main course.
