Juicy ‘LOST’ Info and Spoilers
The Island Has You has these interesting LOST tidbits from an Entertainment Weekly interview with executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.
- 3 more seasons of 16 episodes each
- Next season begins in February 2008.
- The identity of Jacob will be revealed in this week’s episode “Man Behind the Curtain.”
- Something happened to Jack in his past that will directly tie into the finale.
- The show is going into “answer mode” from this point forward although gradually.
- We will see Ms. Hawking (from Desmond’s time travel flashback) again but not in season 3.
- Whether flashbacks will continue to be integral to the story will be looked at after the finale.
- The show will be ending in 2010.
My question is how come none of the cast and none of the fans of the show that I know haven’t picked up on the fact that Kate is pregnant? Juliet, on the tape she made for Ben, specifically says that she has Sun’s sample but hasn’t yet acquired Austen’s. Kate’s last name is Austen. Sawyer and Kate had sex while in captivity. According to Juliet the fertility rate is off the charts on the island. Even impotent Jin was able to knock up Sun. Sawyer probably had ZERO fertility issues as it was. So you know when Kate and Sawyer bumped nasties that Kate got knocked up before the clothes even hit the mud. ‘The Others’ specifically allowed Kate and Sawyer to have sex so they would have another example for their experiment about babies being born alive on the island that were conceived on the island. I find it very surprising that Kate didn’t have anything to say when hearing her last name on the tape.
Add to the fact that one of the main stars is set to die before the end of the season….can anyone say Kate Austen?

Kate can’t die! That would totally ruin the show.
Claire survived her pregnancy though, didn’t she?! But was that because of the queer stuff Juliet made that Ethan injected into her? If that’s the case why can’t they just inject Sun and Kate if she’s pregnant too, with that stuff?
It would suck if Kate is [And most likly is] pregnant with Sawyer’s baby…Jate would basically be ruined, but its obvious Kate loves Jack, and Sawyer knows it now after realizing Kate started crying after seeing Jack and Juliet alone together.
As for main character dying by the end of the season, they may have meant Charlie? Desmond says Charlie will die, however he keeps trying to change fate by saving Charlie everytime, but he can’t keep saving Charlie.

Morty-Claire survived her pregnancy bc her baby was conceived off the island before the plane crash. Only women who conceive ON the island will die, but it seems they all get off the island so none of this matters anyway.
