Former Creed frontman and singer Scott Stapp has been arrested in Boca Raton, Florida on charges of domestic abuse. The judge there has lowered the charge from a felony down to a misdemeanor.

Stapp, who spent the night behind bars in a Palm Beach County jail, is scheduled to appear in court this morning, where a judge will set bond.

At this point, no victim has been identified.

Stapp has continued to find himself on the wrong side of the law since Creed’s fifteen minutes of fame. Hopefully the authorities in Florida will look closely into these allegations and make the correct decision in how to prosecute Mr. Stapp.
