NBA Draft Lottery is Tonight

Photo: NBA Draft Lottery

Tonight is the NBA Draft Lottery. No players will be selected tonight but the teams that didn’t make the playoffs will find out where they will be selecting in this June’s draft.

Representatives from 14 teams will be in Secaucus, N.J., hoping they earn the right to select another Tim Duncan or LeBron James, players who went No. 1 in the draft and now have their teams deep into the postseason.

The lottery determines the top three positions, with the rest of the 14 in inverse order of a team’s record.

My Memphis Grizzlies have the best shot at landing the #1 pick in the draft.  However those odds might not be as good as you expect as you can see below from CollegeHoopsnet.com.  The worst the Grizzlies can do tonight is the 4th overall pick.

The gold in this draft is landing one of the top two picks which would ensure either Ohio State center Greg Oden or Texas forward Kevin Durant.
