Lindsay Lohan’s dad says that his daughter’s arrest for driving while intoxicated was ‘inevitable’.  Police also found what is believed to be cocaine in Lohan’s car.

Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, pleaded on camera for his daughter to get in touch with him after her arrest for allegedly driving drunk on Saturday.Lohan expressed his displeasure with his daughter’s lifestyle, and the various influences on her, saying that “ [the arrest] was inevitable.�

“I’ve been seeing this all along. It just really bothers me that too many people are around Lindsay because of what they can get from her instead of [being there] for Lindsay herself and caring about her.�

“She’s not just the goose that laid the golden egg, she’s a child, a human being,� he added.

Michael Lohan has had his own legal troubles over the past few years, but perhaps this is something that can actually bring him and his daughter back together again.  Whether Lindsay realizes it or not her family will be the people that are there to help her get through it.  Friends literally will head for the Hills (Hollywood or Beverly) as soon as you get in legal trouble, but family is usually the one bedrock you can count on for support throughout.
