It is becoming increasingly obvious that there is a bad sheriff handling Paris Hilton’s release from jail. The sheriff seems to be taking the law and interpretation of the law into his own hands just as the prosecutor said.

The prosecutor, Dan Jeffries, who is also pissed at the Sheriff, accused the Sheriff of “assuming all three roles of the criminal justice system,” claiming “Sheriff Lee Baca is interpreting the law all by himself.”

I was thinking yesterday when Hilton’s release first caught wind that it sounded as if the sheriff took a bribe or money to release her early to her house. Did Kathy and Rick Hilton send a money-laden apple pie to the jail for the sheriff? It is a fishy story for sure. Perhaps he was promised sexual favors. It is all speculation for now but I am sure it will come out in the wash.
