Paris Hilton On ‘Larry King Live’
Paris Hilton appeared on Larry King Live tonight for a sit down interview with the show’s namesake. Hilton said some things that were simply unbelievable considering some of the photos we have seen over the last few years.
In her first interview since being released from jail, Paris Hilton told CNN’s Larry King on Wednesday that she has never used drugs, isn’t a big drinker, and although she feels her incarceration was unwarranted, God had a reason for putting her there.
“Don’t serve the time; let the time serve you,” Hilton said. “I have a new outlook on life.”
Grilled about what friends she had to sacrifice, she replied, “I’ve gotten rid of a lot of people.” Asked for names, she said, “I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but they know who they are.”
Very hard to imagine Larry King grilling anyone.
Hilton had this astonishing confession as well, “Sometimes I go down and that’s something I would like to change about myself.“
Ok, ok that is an accurate quote but was taken out of context and too good to pass up.

Bumpshack Conclusion: ‘Not a thing has changed with Miss Hilton.’
Let the comments rain…I would love to hear what everyone else thought.

ok. so where do we begin????
there are far more “Paris Haters” than Paris supporters out there, right?
Hmmmm, why is that? I think it is safe to say that most of the haters out there are claiming to hate her because of the recent jail sentence and all the drama and such that have surrounded the entire situation. I would like to point out that Paris got her jail sentence for driving on a suspended license. NOT for the actual DUI that she lost her license to. NO ONE goes to jail for a first time, minor, DUI offense. This is a FACT. Paris didn’t get special treatment by not getting sent to jail for this offense. She did however get sent to jail for driving on a suspended DL due to the fact that a judge wanted to make an example out of her and make a name for himself at the same time. So, all the Paris haters love this part. A lot of people are upset that she COULD HAVE hurt or killed someone by drinking and driving. Guess what people?!?!? PARIS DID NOT HURT A FLY!! She got caught for drinking and driving. She got her just punishment for that offense. After this, she kept driving, NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL. She simply drove her car, got pulled over, was cited for it……two times. She did not continue to drink and drive. She just kept DRIVING. You know. Like the average person does EVERYDAY. It is a way of life. What I really would like to know is: Is there a single person out there who hasn’t either had some drinks and gotten behind the wheel (more than once at that) or has a friend or family member who done it? Are you hating on them publicly? Are you wishing death on them? Or are you realizing that they too are human and that they or you make mistakes? YES. Paris appealed to the gov. Why not? I know if I had money, if I had ANY connections, I would use them all to help me stay out of jail. ANY normal human would! Paris showed so much maturity and humility by dropping the appeal, by taking her sentence. She had every right to show emotion. And she did. Wouldn’t you? I guess that my point to all of this is: Stop wishing terrible things on Paris, stop hating her, stop saying the worst things to her and about her. Pull your head out and realize that we all know someone or are that someone who have made these SAME mistakes…..we may or may not have been caught. But, we certainly didn’t get ridiculed for it as she has. Paris has money, a glamorous life, a loving, beautiful family……everything going for her. Who wouldn’t want that too? Just because you don’t have all the perks Paris has doesn’t give you the right to hate her just because she has a good life and lives it to the fullest. PARIS IS A DAUGHTER, A SISTER, A NIECE, A FRIEND, A LOVED ONE. SHE IS HUMAN, JUST LIKE THE REST OF US. If you deserve a break in life, so does she. Maybe it’s time for the American public, the media, all the judgemental people out there to stop playing God. Who are you to judge? Are you perfect? I think it is safe to say no. And with that. I think it is time to get back to our own business, let Paris heal, learn, and grow from this experience. Maybe there is something for us to learn as well…..something called compassion. I think there is far too little in this world today. Life is too short to live our lives passing judgement on someone you know mainly through cheesy tabloids. If you had a life like Paris, one in the lime light, one with privilage, would you accept all of the lies, judegements, fabrications, rumors, tabloids exploitations? OR, would you be the bigger person. Not justify the obsurdity with an explanation. Paris has dignity. Paris is a beautiful person inside and out. She is a REAL person. She is a human being on this earth like the rest of us. So, I am asking all of you HUMAN BEINGS out there, to look inside yourselves, look at your reflection, if you see perfection…..then by all means, judge away. If not. Give Paris the compassion you and I would both hope for if we were to face what she has come up against. In the end, what really matters? Your compassion for others or your “follow the crowd” hate for those you really don’t know.
Thanks for listening. I hope that you “get it”
much love from-

She’s an Idiot…..she’s another child who need some type of devine intervention…and I mean more than just a few weeks in a jail house powder room…..and some one should tell her that its not the length of time that you spend behind bars…its the fact that you even had to be there…she hasnt learned anything…and where are her parents through all of this?…even though legally she is old enough to be responsible for her actions…dont parents always still need to be in your life to help give u guidence to atleast give you their opinion…?
I know I’m 31 and my mom still offers me guidence and advice whether or not she thinks I need it…cause that’s just what parents do…our jobs are never completely done when it comes to our children….and obviously she still needs the care and guidence of her parents….well…I’ll just send her my prayers and hope that this talented young woman can get through her downward spiral before its too late…..
people need to stop judging and hating on paris and any other celberties like nicole richie saying she’s pregnant think about it if she’s not your just going to send her back a step to being stick thin with bones showing and stuff again and paris i love paris like the dances and her personality and stuff plus she’s seems like a sweet person so nobody should judge anyone who they don’t know i mean just cuz your not rich or pretty or famous like them i mean if anyone lost their DL they would drive shit i know i would you would to also life is short and u losers are spending it on judging people not living it so all the haters are a waste of perfect oxygen

Why are the rules diffrent for celebrities?
Why do they get parties after they come home from jail? the Average person doesn’t.
Firstly, I want to know why I should care. I don’t really remember her for anything other than a scandalous sex-tape thing.
Secondly, to the first poster, I don’t understand what you’re saying. I don’t hate her… Hell, I don’t even know her, but we all know that celebrities get a pretty easy go of it when they commit crimes. Poor people get the shaft, many times being wrongly convicted because they couldn’t afford an adequate defense. I don’t know where you live, but I’ve known people who did a lot more time for suspended licenses than 25 days. And they didn’t even have a DUI. They had an unpaid speeding ticket. Hell, this girl had the money to be chauffeured anywhere she wanted to go, and STILL drove on a suspended license. What a tard!
I think Paris got what she deserved. And sadly, law enforcement did infact treat her differently because of her celebrity status. She was WRONGLY treated, hence her being treated because of her celebrity status. It’s a common thing for DUI offenders to go in jail on a 23-40 day sentence, but be release after a week, at most. I believe she should have been released after 5 days, as she was, but not for a fictitious disability such as the ones she was released for. She should have been released after 5 days because that’s when everyone else is! She was merely kept there because of the fact that she is a CELEBRITY. Our law enforcement system is so corrupt that we cannot treat everyone fairly!
I don’t hate paris. i’am however, sick of her. nicole, brittany,(anna nicole) etc.. and what do all of these people have in common? what are they all famous for? they are freakshows. if the tabloids would STOP giving them such huge coverage, we would stop caring about all of them. it’s like driving by a car wreak. your gonna look. paris hilton (no matter who’s daughter, sister, whatever she is)is a shallow, self centered spoiled rich kid.acting like a trashy common skank in public. did she get special treatment of course she did. if we all had that kind of money, so would we.case in point..did ANYONE notice on the piece of video they showed over & over, when she got out of the limo for court, she actually stopped, looked in the window and fixed her HAIR!!!! Paris should dtick to making porn, its what suites her best. it just goes to show, no matter what kind of money you have you CANT BUY CLASS!! I wish they would stop glorifying her. …and as far as finding religion..yeah right. i wonder if it will be with her in her next sex video. the hiltons should hang their head in shame, im glad thats not my daughter. dont get me wrong, im NOT judging paris..but she is so dishonest about everything its disgusting.never done drugs?? yeah ok. never drink much? not only is she a skank, shes a pathological liar too.good job mr.and mrs.hilton.
Paris Hilton should have simply done a twenty-minute press conference, because every question that King “threw” at her was turned into a vague publicity statement instead of answered. King could have asked her a few more direct questions than the sugary puff-balls that he slow-pitched her way (though in his defense, she could barely comprhend even those). Of course, she probably would have lied outright at those questions also (NEVER DONE DRUGS?!! Her speech was so slow it sounded like she took a few hits before they went on air!). Her diction reminded me of a seventh-grade cheerleader. How many times did she use the word ‘traumatic’? She spent three weeks in jail. Minus the time that she was in her mansion, bawling about her ‘claustrophobia’. She said herself the room was eight by twelve- that’s about the size of my bedroom! And she says that she got letters from soldiers in Iraq to prove how sorry everyone felt for her?! That is just disgusting. She should be ashamed, even if she did get letters from soldiers. Soldiers risking their lives in Iraq comforting her while she spends three safe weeks in jail for a crime that she DID commit. She should not advertise that she received those letters. Disgusting. And for the author of the first comment, and all others sharing said author’s sympathies, get some common sense. Most people (”Paris Haters”) are not jealous or inconsiderate of Paris Hilton. We are simply disgusted at how selfish, immature, and ungrateful she is. Forgive us for not bowing at her diamond-studded shrine.
Um, I have a quick response to number three- Lydia, I believe. Punctuation. Periods, specifically. I was reading the different defenses for Paris, trying to follow your reasoning, and I still don’t believe I know what you said because you wrote no coherent sentences. I actually got a little out of breath attemtping to read the one massive sentence. But I think I may have gotten the point: you like Paris Hilton and I am a waste of oxygen because I don’t. Well, reading your comment actually wasted a lot of my precious oxygen. Kind of like when I watched Ms. Hilton’s interview.
I had a quick suggestion for number 3- Lydia, I believe. Punctuation. Periods, to be exact. I was reading your defense of Paris, trying to follow your reasoning, but I still don’t quite understand what you are saying. You did not write one coherent sentence. However, I think I got the point: you like Paris Hilton and I am a waste of oxygen because I don’t. Reading your comment actually wasted a lot of my oxygen. Kind of like when I watched Ms. Hilton’s interview.
