Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter book series by J.K. Rowling, was finally released today. No spoilers here, but one of the main characters is in fact killed off.

Thousands of fans of the book have waited in line for most of the past week. I don’t understand why since there is more than enough ‘Deathly Hallows’ that have been published to go around. It is not a limited edition item. One could also order it from Amazon anytime over the past year and it would arrive on your doorstep today without having to brave the heat and boredom of awaiting 12:01am Saturday July 21st.

Being a conspiracy theorist, am I the only person who questions whether JK Rowlings really exists or is a pseudonym? I know, shes occasionally pictured in the news, but with all the publicity she seems to want for this overrated book series (which is not a child’s series) why do we never seem to see pictures of her on the streets like we see with all other celebrities, even the ones who don’t search out publicity?
