Tammy Faye Baker has passed away at the age of 65.  She had been battling colon cancer for over a decade.  She starred on a season of The Surreal Life on VH1 before her illness took a turn for the worse.

Messner, who as Tammy Faye Bakker helped her husband, Jim, build a multimillion-dollar evangelism empire and then saw it collapse in disgrace, has died. She was 65.

Rest in peace Tammy Faye.  You were a sweet and gentle soul that will be missed.
