Quote of the Day: J.K. Rowling
“It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but even more to stand up to your friends.”

Faith Hill gave a tongue lashing to a fan at her and husband Tim McGraw’s concert at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette, Louisiana, after the fan grabbed McGraw’s package (Cajun women just don’t care!) while he was leaning down to shake their hands.
The video (which you can see at TMZ) shows a pissed Hill lecturing the fan about her actions.
“Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend,” Faith scolded the fan. “You don’t go grabbin’ somebody else’s — somebody’s husband’s balls, you understand me? That’s very disrespectful.”
Way to stand up for your man Faith! Now if you could just get him off the excessive booze and drugs! You can see in the clip below where Faith was pissed at the CMA’s this year when Carrie Underwood beat her out for Female Vocalist of the Year.

Hollywood has decided to put its pigeons on the birth control pill. The move is to help rid the city of pigeons and their lovely poop. They even got PETA to agree to this extreme measure.
Over the next few months, a product called OvoControl P, which interferes with egg development, will be placed in bird food in new rooftop feeders.
If this is successful, don’t be surprised if they try it on Britney Spears next.

Natalie Gulbis and Anna Kournikova play different sports but Gulbis has been compared repeatedly to Kournikova since her debut on the LPGA women’s golf tour. The comparison is inevitable because both women are super-sexy and talented in their respective sports.
Also, neither has ever won a major tournament until yesterday when Gulbis won the Evian Masters LPGA golf tournament in Evian-Les-Baines, France.
Famous mostly for her looks through five-plus seasons on tour, Gulbis broke through Sunday, winning her first LPGA Tour title at the Evian Masters with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff with Jang Jeong of South Korea on Sunday.
“Obviously it was meant to be for me,” Gulbis said. “Before the playoff, I was very upset at myself because I felt like I had given away this tournament. I thought I needed to get to 7 under to win and I end up at, what, four? Going in today, I never thought that four under would have won this tournament.”
The tall, blond Gulbis has been one of the best-known players on the LPGA tour. She sells a calendar on her Web site featuring shots of her in athletic apparel and swimwear, has a reality show on The Golf Channel and her digitized likeness appears in Tiger Woods’ eponymous video game.
Congrats to Natalie on her first LPGA tour win. Many more are sure to follow.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are closer to having sex (Tom claims they did below). The alien couple got their bump n’ grind on at David Beckham’s party last weekend. No word if Tom was looking over Katie’s shoulder into Beckham’s eyes during the dance.
Katie has been looking really good of late and has even drawn comparisons to late Jackie Onassis.
Katie was reportedly very sore……from bending down to hip level for Tommy to grind on.
Totally digging on Tom’s Flowbee haircut. You Can Order One Here.

Since only about three Americans watch the Tour de Fraud France since Lance Armstong’s retirement, it should be noted that Alberto Cantador won the 2007 Tour today in Paris, France.
Contador, who rides for the Discovery Channel team, becomes the first Spaniard to win the three-week race since Miguel Indurain, the first ever five-time consecutive winner, in 1991-1995. The 24-year-old from Madrid virtually secured his first ever yellow jersey on only his second ride in the race after his fifth place finish in the penultimate stage time trial in Angouleme on Saturday.
Scandals, doping, and the corrupt French marred this years edition. This is the first year in about a decade I didn’t keep up with the race.
Comedian and Father of the Bride Steve Martin wed Saturday in a private ceremony at his Los Angeles mansion to long time girlfriend Ann Stringfield.
The surprise ceremony, which had not been announced beforehand to the approximately 75 guests in attendance, was presided over by Bob Kerrey, the former Nebraska Senator and attempted 1992 Democratic presidential candidate – and a friend of Martin’s, publicist Alan Nierob tells the Associated Press.
The guests, who included Tom Hanks, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Carl Reiner and magician Ricky Jay, had simply been told they were invited to the Martin home a “party,” according to the publicist.
It is the second marriage for Martin and first for Stringfield. The two had dated for three years prior.
