New Carrie Underwood ‘So Small’ Lyrics
Yesterday I posted about Bumpshacker Luke Laird’s new song ‘So Small’ that he has written with Carrie Underwood and fellow songwriter Hillary Lindsey for Underwood’s upcoming album. Luke still claims the song title is NOT autobiographical.
The lyrics to the song are below and you can listen to a radio rip of the song here.
SO SMALL Lyrics by Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey and
Carrie UnderwoodWhat you got if you ain’t got love?
The kind that you just wanna give away
It’s okay to open up
Go ahead and let the light shine throughI know it’s hard on a rainy day
You wanna shut the world out and just be let alone
But don’t run out on your faithCoz sometimes that mountain you’ve been climbing is just a grain of sand
And what you’ve been out there searching forforever is in your hand
When you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else seem so smallIt’s so easy to get lost inside
A problem that seems so big the other time
is like a river that’s so wide
It swallows you whole
Why you sitting around thinking about what you can’t change
and worrying about all the wrong things
And time’s flying by
Moving so fast
You’d better make it count
Coz you can’t get it backCoz sometimes that mountain you’ve been climbing is just a grain of sand
And what you’ve been out there searching for forever is in your hand
When you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else seem so smallYeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Sometimes that mountain you’ve been climbing is just a grain of sand
And what you’ve been out there searching for forever is in your hand
Oh and when you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else
Oh, it sure makes everything else seem so small
