Paris Hilton’s good friend Caroline D’Amore, she is a fashion model and actress, announced her engagement over the weekend to filmmaker Matthew Ross.

The 23-year-old fashion model, actress and club DJ told the mag that Ross got down on one knee for the proposal, which took her completely by surprise. The ring he gave her is a family heirloom, passed down from his grandmother to his mother — and now to D’Amore.

D’Amore and Ross met at Guy’s bar during DANNY MASTERSON‘s Jazz Night at the club about a year ago and have been together since.

It appears that everything Paris Hilton touches either becomes pregnant, gets engaged or releases a sex tape.   Perhaps couples attempting to have a baby should go rub Hilton’s head, ala a Buddha statute, to increase their fertility.
