Matt Leinart and Brynn Cameron are in court trying to decide custody over their 10-month-old son Cole.

“We’re trying to reach a settlement,” said Ron Rale, an attorney for Cameron, outside the courtroom.

A source close to the case says child support issues were resolved “a couple weeks ago” and that Monday’s pending hearing relates to custody arrangements only.

Cameron, 21, who plans a return to USC’s basketball team this fall, looked upbeat as she waited with family members in the hallway.

Leinart, 24, did not show in court. Instead, his attorney Laura Wasser (who is also Britney Spears’s divorce lawyer) was on hand.

Look for momma Brynn to get the majority of the custody being the baby’s mother and all.  Matt’s hard partying and football lifestyle won’t win him any points with the judge.
