Michael Vick Agrees to Plea Guilty over Dog Charges
Atlanta Falcons star quarterback Michael Vick has agreed to plea guilty over the charges of conspiracy to sponsor a dog in an animal fighting venture and conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities.
“After consulting with his family over the weekend, Michael Vick asked that I announce today that he has reached an agreement with federal prosecutors regarding the charges pending against him,” lead defense attorney Billy Martin said in a statement.
“Mr. Vick has agreed to enter a plea of guilty to those charges and to accept full responsibility for his actions and the mistakes he has made. Michael wishes to apologize again to everyone who has been hurt by this matter.”
Thank you Mr. Vick for not dragging us all through a very long and public trial. ESPN will be saddened to lose all of those programming hours but the rest of us won’t.
I still believe there wouldn’t be nearly the outrage if he had killed or raped someone.

I believe that Michael Vick needs to be put in one of these dog fights and come out on the losing end. Maybe it’s time for him to be bred out of extinction within the NFL. Maybe the NFL will have enough guts to do just that, but I doublt it. They always protect their own and what does this have to do with football you say?
It has to do with the character of the man and the makeup of the NFL and what it wants to portray to not only the public but within the ranks and file. But will they consider the millions of children out there; I think not it’s all about the $$$. And I find that pitiful not only for the players but for those of us that will continue to watch as nothing is done pertaining to his career and what the fallout should be because of his lack of morals and ethics as a human being.
