Vegas legend Wayne Newton is set to participate in the next edition of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars according to a leaked press release.

The new season of Dancing with the Stars is scheduled to debut Sept. 24.

Having performed as a child for President Truman, the Virginia-born Newton, 65, still tours with the USO and makes regular appearances in his Las Vegas hometown, where he’s performed for more than 40 years and has a street named in his honor.

I always have wanted to see his show while in Vegas but no one I am with is ever game.  Any man with a golden microphone is a friend of mine!
