I am very excited to bring you a promo that’s very close to my heart. Nike has created a Virtual Marathon event to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Nike wanted to create a virtual event for runners of all ages and experience levels that couldn’t make it to San Francisco to participate in The Nike Women’s Marathon, yet also help raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The idea is for you and your readers to sign up for the virtual marathon and blog about your training from now until the big marathon taking place on October 21st.

Everyone who virtually runs the 13.1 virtual marathon course will receive A Nike Sports Essentials Finisher’s T-shirt and an Official Finisher Keychain designed by Tiffany & Co. This keychain is exclusive to Nike+ Women’s Half Marathon finishers and cannot be purchased in stores.
