The fifth season of ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ kicks off tonight at 8 pm EST on ABC.  The women perform tonight with the men following suit tomorrow night.

Taking to the dance floor tonight are “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” star JANE SEYMOUR, “The Cheetah Girls”‘ SABRINA BRYAN, model-actress JOSIE MARAN, TV personality/singer MARIE OSMOND, SPICE GIRLS singer MELANIE BROWN (aka Scary Spice) and “90210″ alum JENNIE GARTH.

Then, on Tuesday night, Abercrombie & Fitch cover model ALBERT REED, billionaire MARK CUBAN, music legend WAYNE NEWTON, boxer “Pretty Boy” FLOYD MAYWEATHER, two-time Indy 500 winner HELIO CASTRONEVES and “All My Children”‘s CAMERON MATHISON will strut their stuff.

I would say the early favorites would have to be Floyd Mayweather, Helio Castroneves or Josie Maran.  Co-host Samantha Harris gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday in Los Angeles.
