Quote of the Day: Kevin Smith
“More often than not, a hero’s most epic battle is the one you never see; it’s the battle that goes on within him or herself.”

‘Prison Break‘ actor Lane Garrison is likely to do big time in the slammer for drunken driving and killing one of his passengers in a related car accident in December of last year.
A prosecutor has asked a judge to sentence “Prison Break” star Lane Garrison to four years eight months in state prison. Even though they are not asking for the maximum sentence for Garrison, prosecutors are asking the judge to throw the book at the actor.
I think the judge will sentence Garrison for about 18-24 months in jail, five years of probation and a butt load of community service.
UPDATE: Garrison sentenced to three years and four months in prison.

Sabrina Bryan, a member of the Cheetah Girls, was surprisingly voted off of ‘Dancing With The Stars‘ last night in the biggest shocker of the season. Bryan and her dance partner Mark Ballas had been the judges favorite to land in the finals of the reality dance show contest.
The same couldn’t be said for the remaining couples, whose fate was decided in the final minutes of the show. While it was no surprise Helio and Julianne and Jennie and Derek would be moving on, a completely stunned Osmond and Jonathan Roberts also found out that they had survived another week. That left two couples that had never landed in the bottom two: Cameron and Edyta and Sabrina and Mark.
Bryan’s fan base obviously wasn’t nearly strong enough. ‘DWTS’ and the voting for it and other reality TV shows is at times like a popularity contest more often than based on who has the most talent.

“I always remember an epitaph which is in the cemetery at Tombstone, Arizona. It says: ‘Here lies Jack Williams. He done his damnedest.’ I think that is the greatest epitaph a man can have - When he gives everything that is in him to do the job he has before him. That is all you can ask of him and that is what I have tried to do.”

Paris Hilton vowed upon leaving prison to help save the world and be a better person. She does her best as a naive Alice in Wonderland (kind of appropriate) Halloween costume. Granted the outfit is a bit sexy (in a stripper kind of way) but bad enough to make Paris our ‘Worst Dressed Celeb of the Day‘.

Kim Kardashian Naked in December Playboy
Kim Kardashian’s eagerly awaited Playboy shoot is complete and some photos are already being leaked. Playboy, usually the classiest of adult magazines, seemed to lower their standards a bit with Kim’s photo shoot. The shots are a bit more suggestive than the norm for Hugh and gang.
Perhaps sales are sluggish and Playboy just needed the star power that the trashy Kardashian and her reputation could lend to the magazine. Kardashian, a long-time friend of Paris Hilton, become a house hold name when her sex tape with slutty sex tape with rapper Ray J. was produced, leaked and then sold on the internet.

Can you guess the above photographed celebrity? She is an actress and not a very obscure one. Feel free to leave a comment with your guess.

The Los Angeles District Attorney cites “insufficient evidence” in his decision to not file charges against ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor Orlando Bloom. Bloom injured two people riding with him when he crashed his car October 12th.
According to the document, Bloom “was being pursued by 4 vehicles containing paparazzi and one vehicle containing fans.” Bloom “took evasive action resulting in a collision.”
As for walking away, they say he “walked approximately 60 feet from the scene in an apparent attempt to avoid paparazzi’s continued pursuit.” They say “[Bloom] was not D.U.I. but was dazed.”
There needs to be a strict paparazzi law put into place in Los Angeles. Those guys are wreckless and dangerous and eventually a celebrity is going to get killed trying to avoid them like Princess Diana did.
Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline are scheduled to appear in court together later this afternoon. Spears testimony will not be video taped for fear it would be leaked and cause more embarrassment to the pop singer.
“Britney being deposed is a routine part of a custody battle,” L.A. family law attorney Joel Schwartz, who is not involved in the case, tells PEOPLE. “Kaplan will be asking her, and anyone else he’s subpoenaed, about her past drug and alcohol use, her apparent inability to follow court orders, and anything else that reveals whether she’s a fit mother.”
It is probably the correct decision to not videotape the deposition. Britney’s answers to being grilled by Federline’s attorneys should still be quite interesting.
