Troubled Britney Spears has lost custody of her kids to ex-husband Kevin Federline.  The news comes as a massive blow to Britney in a year that everything has gone wrong for her.

L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon issued an order today stating that Kevin Federline, the boys’ father, “is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court.”

Look for Britney to find rehab somewhere, likely Utah for 30 days, then get partial custody back in a future judicial hearing.  The judge probably wants Spears to come before the court and defend her behavior and actions.

Rumors yesterday circulated of Spears moving to Cuba in a desperate move to keep her kids and avoid exradition.
