Pretty Woman Julia Roberts is still an insecure actress, even after countless successful films and awards. Even commanding eight figures per film doesn’t bring confidence with it.

“There was never a real point in my career where I thought I had made it,” Roberts told FOX on the carpet of Friday’s American Cinematheque Award presentation, where the Academy Award-winner was honored for her memorable contribution to moving cinema. “I’m an actor; I’m part of a very insecure breed. I don’t know if you ever really think like that necessarily.”

She hit the nail on the head about actors being a very insecure species. It comes from years of reading for scripts and being rejected as well as always having to be at the top of his or her game.
