Jerry Seinfeld Rips Geriatric Larry King

I had the pleasure to talk to and ask Larry King a question on his defunct radio show nearly twenty years ago. I was ten at the time and Larry was already a dinosaur. It is often debatable if the folks at CNN just roll Larry out there and prop him up to throw softball questions at the celebrities that arrive on his program to promote their project or cause.
Jerry Seinfeld sorta/kinda lost it on King’s ‘Larry King Live’ on Thursday night. King asked Jerry if ‘Seinfeld’ was canceled which didn’t please the comedian too much.
On Thursday’s “Larry King Live,” the King asked Jerry if “Seinfeld” was canceled back in the day, and Jerry seemed genuinely shocked that Larry (his “Bee Movie” co-star) didn’t know. “You think I got canceled?” Jerry shot back. “I was the number one show on television, Larry … 75 million viewers in the last episode.” Clearly, Larry is not master of his domain.
As Larry played it off and went to commercial, Jerry threw in one last zinger: “Can we get a resume in here for me for Larry to go over?” Zing!
Cut him some slack Jerry. Larry could have been one of the 200 million people who did not tune in for the final episode.
Seinfeld should get back on TV with something new, but he knows that no matter how good it might be, that it would never come close to the massive success that ‘Seinfeld’ enjoyed.

I agree - Jerry didn’t need to be such a dick about it. And if the last few seasons had been anything like the final episode that he mentioned, plummeting ratings and a cancellation would have been a distinct possibility.
The guy is like 80 years old, lol. Give the guy a break.
Does anyone even watch Larry King? If so, you’d know how dumb his questions are, and how out of touch the guy is. (I cite his comments on how well Cubans like Fidel Castro.) Age is no excuse; it’s a lack of professionalism not to do show prep.
Jerry Seinfeld was there to promote his latest movie the Bee movie. He was using Larry King’s show to do this. Then he has his nerve to jump all over Larry for asking him background info for those that may not be aware of it.How arrogant can he be? I think he should show some respect to Mr. King.Is this the example Jerry is setting for his own children? As well as for all of America to view. This is one of our major breakdowns in this country. Total lack of respect. This is why there is so much violence, vandalism etc. What a difference this show was when compared to the Duane Dog Chapman interview. Dogs interview was captivating. Jerry’s interview made me turn the channel,I am sick of arrogance and self importance.Where Duane Dog Chapman was humble.
