Sarah Michelle Gellar - Maxim’s ‘Woman of the Year’
Someone fell asleep at the wheel over at Maxim magazine and named Sarah Michlle Gellar as the ‘Woman of the Year’ for 2008. Is the year 2008 already going to be so bad that Gellar is going to be the ‘Woman of the Year?’ They might as well go ahead and name Luke Perry as ‘Man of the Year.’
Gellar rose to fame in the 90’s starring as Buffy on the hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Since then she has not done much of anything except a few voice offers and random roles in really bad movies.

Hey, SMG is a great pick for woman of the year. She’s smart, sexy, about to make a comeback, and a helluva lot better than what else Hollywood has to offer (Paris, Nicole, Olsens, Britney). I mean come on, whats the big deal?
I wish Buffy _were_ back - it was Sarah’s best role. She was amazing - I can’t imagine anyone else playing Buffy, even though someone did! (In the flick, predating the series). I haven’t enjoyed anything Gellar has done since “Buffy”, although i’ve wanted to. (The film based on “..Girls’ Guide To Hunting and Fishing” was OK, but just that. OK. I can’t even remember the name).
Oh well… she is quite pretty. And seems to have a solid marriage, which is really encouraging to see in Hollywood!
