Amy Winehouse Gets Six Grammy Nominations

Celeb wreck Amy Winehouse received six Grammy nominations yesterday for her album Back to Black.  2007 has been a year of extreme highs and depressing lows, literally, for Winehouse and husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

“She’s good,” says Ronson, 32, who produced much of Winehouse’s record-of-the-year candidate, Back to Black. “I called her today because the record was something that we went through together … Hopefully she will get into America so we can celebrate.”

(The singer’s October pot bust in Norway could cause her visa difficulties. She’s now appealing the charge.)

It’s always great when you have a song called ‘Rehab’, you’ve been busted for drugs and drunk tirades, and then to have your record producer quoted as saying he can’t wait to get you to America so you can celebrate.

Bad choice of words buddy!

Winehouse is very talented and the nominations she received were some of the more deserving ones that were announced yesterday.
