Jamie Leigh Jones Claims Gang Rape and Cover Up by Halliburton
Jamie Leigh Jones claims she was raped in Baghdad, Iraq, by Halliburton workers and that the U.S. government and Halliburton covered it up.
Jamie Leigh Jones, now 22, says that after she was raped by multiple men at a KBR camp in the Green Zone, the company put her under guard in a shipping container with a bed and warned her that if she left Iraq for medical treatment, she’d be out of a job.
“Don’t plan on working back in Iraq. There won’t be a position here, and there won’t be a position in Houston,” Jones says she was told.
Army doctors did an examination and verified the rape;
Jones told ABCNews.com that an examination by Army doctors showed she had been raped “both vaginally and anally,” but that the rape kit disappeared after it was handed over to KBR security officers.
This is a bad story if it turns out to be true. Hopefully investigations into the woman’s claims will be done properly and thoroughly. ABC News could not confirm if any federal investigation of any sort had ever taken place.

The fraud you are why would someone have to submit anothers witness to the media. We all know it is a living container not shipping and why is your husband sueing Halliburton you were already messed up when he married and meet you. First of all Tracy Barkers attorney is Stewart Hoffer of Houston Texas not Morris, Kelly and Waldner. It’s also amazing that the media didn’t cover that Barker was locked in a living container 2 times while they escorted her to urinate the halliburton/kbr human resource EMPLOYEE Wesley Lane wrote a sworn statement that she had done this to Barker because she was ordered to by her employers. Wesley Lanes statement is filed in Texas court. The world was outraged by Jones being locked in a container which was horrific but didn’t acknowledge that Barker was locked in the same container 2 times sexual assaulted by State Dept employee and Supervisor of Halliburton/KBR. If this was acknowledged earlier and later maybe Jones would’ve been spared. Barker coming through the Jamie Leigh Jones Foundation is also inaccurate Barker was home for several months before Jones even went to Iraq for 4 days. I was told that is not true What is also horrible is that the public was not allowed to hear Barkers whole case therefore I took it upon myself to read the actual filing wondering why?? Barker is not represented by Kelly, Waldner, or Morris as of a few weeks ago filed in Texas Court motion to withdraw as counsel February 2008. Barker’s new attorney is Stewart Hoffer of Houston Texas . Barker goes to trial April 11th in Arlington Virginia but according to Federal Court Documents Arlington Virginia Attorneys Kelly, Morris, and Waldner never showed for court date against Ali Mokhtare Jan 13 2008, therefore the court had to reschedule. Maybe this is why Barker has a new attorney no more thumbs on this women’s head whose justice were these JUSTICE SEEKERS FIGHTING FOR??? According to Dave with Peoples Magazine and other affiliates interviews requested of Tracy Barker were turned down for Barker’s story to expose that she was also locked in a living container and sexually assaulted. Barker had no knowledge at the time of these request. After reading the details of the witness the statements that were handed in by Jones to the media Rodgers Surman were actual eye witness to Barkers abuse why wasn’t this handed in by Barker to the media and congress. Why the hell wouldn’t Barker testify to a Homeland Security Hearing and just hand in some statement when she was there for several years compared to 4 days???? What a freakin joke. According to the media the 2020 interview Barker just had twins but come on…. Judge Miller is just another good old Texas boy on the bench with absolutely no gonads. Probably wears a skirt under his robe. If the courts would take on these major companies and shows some guts much of this abuse of employees would stop. The arbitration BS forced on Haliburton employees, I believe, holds no substance. You can sign arbitration agreements all day when it pertains to work hours, pay, benefits, promotions, etc. But no one in their right mind (guess where that places Miller?), can expect a woman to sign arbitration agreements when it comes to sexual assualt by her employer or her supervisor. Get real Judge Miller. You could have scored one for many people abused by Haliburton but you failed the “right thing to do test.” Time to hand over the gavel to someone with gonads.
The comments made on these blogs regarding the Jamie Jones and Tracy Barker’s cases are in my opinion offensive and derrogatory toward victims and legal representatives. They are in no way associated to, were not solicited by, were not originated by nor are they approved nor condoned by members of Tracy’s family or by Tracy Barker. I am her father and I feel these cases should all be tried in the court arena and not on blogs. I am optimistic that anyone reading these will know they are simply a matter of opinions and are far from being completely accurate. Please let the attorneys sort this out, bring justice for the victims and use the correct approach to making the responsible parties responsible. Let;s not try it here.

Browse column HOUSTON (The Moscow News) – A 23-year-old Texas woman who claimed that Halliburton employees raped her in Iraq is already assured of at least one payoff from the scandal: a reported $2.5 million deal to pose nude in Playboy magazine.
The controversial 12-page spread will feature plaintiff Jamie Leigh Jones posing fully naked, in a project tentatively titled, “Jones’ Message To Cheney: ‘Dick Don’t Surge!’”
Jones recently filed a lawsuit against Halliburton after US prosecutors failed to bring criminal charges. She claims that she was raped by employees of Halliburton subsidiary KBR, and held under lock and key by KBR security guards for 24 hours during the rape.
Jones will pose in desert scenery in what Playboy describes as a “tasteful” recreation of “the Iraq we never see—the sexy Iraq.” One shoot will reportedly be set inside of a container truck painted up in Day-Glo colors, featuring Jones stripping off a burqa, all done “tastefully,” according to a source working with Christie Hefner.
Analysts believe that her decision to pose for Playboy was meant to ensure that she would receive at least some payback for her ordeal, since her civil case is likely to be stuck in a legal quagmire.
Antiwar bloggers have already expressed their dismay, while pro-war analysts see it as proof that her story was unreliable all along.
Bob Owens, who runs a conservative blog called Confederate Yankee, explained, “I’ve spent the last week masturbating non-stop, fantasizing that I’m one of one of those lucky Halliburton rapists, and quite frankly, I need some new jerk-off material. So hooray for Playboy and boo to the politically-correct liberal elitists who want to deny me my rights.”
