Veteran Actor John Berg Found Dead at 58
Actor John Berg who has been in shows such as House M.D., Monk, and Brothers & Sisters was found dead in his California home on Sunday afternoon.
Television character actor John Berg, who appeared in shows such as “House M.D.” and “Monk,” was found dead in his Van Nuys home, authorities said today.
The body of the 58-year-old actor was discovered shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday in the residence in the 6500 block of Nagle Avenue, said Capt. Ed Winter of the coroner’s office.

John Berg was a fine professional actor who was never cast in a role that would have properly showcased his talent and ability. He could have been a star with just the right role. That’s the case with many people in Hollywood.
The great majority of film actors and actresses who passed away this year were victims of cancer. Could it be that there is something about enduring the stresses of being in that business and that physical environment that makes it easier for people to get sick with cancer? If so, I’m glad I gave up film acting, moved away from California many years ago and still enjoy excellent, disease free health.
