Actor John Berg who has been in shows such as House M.D., Monk, and Brothers & Sisters was found dead in his California home on Sunday afternoon.

Television character actor John Berg, who appeared in shows such as “House M.D.” and “Monk,” was found dead in his Van Nuys home, authorities said today.

The body of the 58-year-old actor was discovered shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday in the residence in the 6500 block of Nagle Avenue, said Capt. Ed Winter of the coroner’s office.
