50′s Pinup Girl Jeanne Carmen Dies

Jeanne Carmen, who became famous as a 50′s pinup girl and trick shot golfer, died last week in her Orange County home. Carmen claims to have had affairs with Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, John F. Kennedy and many other A-list celebs from the golden era of Hollywood.
Carmen died of lymphoma Thursday at her Orange County home, said her son, Brandon James.
Born on Aug. 4, 1930, in Paragould, Ark., Carmen picked cotton with her family before running away at 13.
“I was just a little country girl that wanted to be a movie star,” she told the Orange County Register in 1996.
Carmen was good friends with Marilyn Monroe but most of Jeanne’s finest moments came off screen and in the arms of the most powerful men in America. She was also infamous for being a hustler on golf courses. A great golfer and great looks? What a combo!
