Justin Chambers, hunky doc from Grey’s Anatomy, was in and out of a psych ward earlier this week. Ironically it is the same psych ward that Britney Spears is currently locked up in.

Grey’s Anatomy star Justin Chambers checked into UCLA Medical Center’s psych ward earlier this week - the same facility as Britney Spears.

He “was exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder,” his rep tells TMZ.com. “He went in voluntarily to get some help.”

Are psych wards the new rehab for celebs?  I am glad my wife doesn’t send me to the psych ward for my sleeping issues.

Jessica Simpson is planning a duet with country singer Dolly Parton on her next album.  Simpson is making a country album in Nashville in an attempt to strike big on the charts again.

Jessica told me she’s meeting with none other than Queen of Country Dolly Parton next week about doing a duet on the album. She’s also working with writer/producer John Shanks. In other words: she’s taking country seriously. Fans of the genre needn’t worry.

The only thing missing from this buxom duet will be Kenny Rogers, the plastic man.

OK! magazine is reporting that Angeline Jolie is indeed pregnant with her second biological child with Brad Pitt.  The couple has three adoptive children they are raising together as well.

And now OK! has learned that Angelina is indeed expecting baby no. 2 with boyfriend Brad Pitt and that the actress is over the moon about bringing another child into the world.

“Angie has wanted a second biological baby for some time now,” a friend of the star tells OK!. “And the minute she’s pregnant, she just glows. She’s the type that doesn’t want to scream it to everyone, but she has the quiet, expectant mother glow. Her smile says she’s the luckiest woman in the world.”

Many already had speculated due to her dress selection and overflowing boobs at the SAG Awards that Angie was pregnant.

Britney Spears has been committed again on mental evaluation hold (5150 psychiatric hold) for the second time in less than a month.  TMZ has exhausting coverage of this latest Britney drama.  Early Thursday morning, Spears, was escorted via ambulance, and police motorcycle detail to the UCLA Medical Center.

Britney’s shrink called the cops and set everything in motion. The psychiatrist was shocked at the wreckless behavior shown by Spears the day before with the high speed chase she was involved in.  Cops referred to Spears as ‘the package’ in transporting her to the hospital.

Pseudo cousin Alli Sims was all smiles upon arriving at the hospital.  Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, was polite in asking the media to respect his privacy during this difficult time.  Her manager, Sam Lufti, the one who supposedly arranged the intervention, arrived at the hospital to check on his welfare check.  Her mom, Lynne Spears, and brother, Bryan Spears, have also arrived.

Brit went willingly to the hospital upon hearing the news from her shrink.  If Spears refuses medicine while under the 5150 hold then the psychiatrist is likely to go to court and ask a judge to hold her for an additional 14 days.

Lufti, not Brit’s parents, was making the medial decisions regarding Spears’ health initially.  She had her lawyers draw up papers last month blocking her parents from making medical decisions for her.  If she signs a Power of Attorney they can then make medical decisions for her.  Spears parents appear to have gained temporary control to make medical decisions for Spears, but this could change until a judge grants them that right legally.

‘Entertainment Tonight’ after much pressure from fans of the show and critics alike has decided not to air the video tape of Heath Ledger snorting cocaine in a hotel room at the Chateau Marmont.

‘ET’ posted the following statement on their website:

Out of respect for HEATH LEDGER’s family, “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider” have decided not to run the Heath Ledger video which has been circulating in the world media.

The show allegedly paid $200,000 for Heath’s drug tape.

Chere Rhodes, girlfriend of former actor Max Baer Jr., shot herself in the chest and died several days later according to Lake Tahoe authorities. Baer is famous for playing ‘Jethro Bodine’ on the syndicated classic TV show ‘The Beverly Hillbillies’.

Baer, 70, an entrepreneur who played “Jethro” in the 1960s “Hillbillies” series, summoned authorities to his Lake Tahoe home last Thursday after he found Rhodes with a single gunshot wound to the chest, Halsey said.

“She was conscious on the scene and told [officers] that it was a self-attempted suicide,” Halsey said. “There was a suicide note as well, which substantiated her statement.”

He said the handwritten note cited “relationship problems.”

Baer’s father, the late Max Baer, Sr., was one of the more famous boxers of all-time. The movie Cinderella Man is based on his life. Baer, Jr. has been on record as saying the film distorts his father’s image in a negative and false light.

Baer wrote, directed, and produced several successful films before retiring to the slopes of Lake Tahoe.

Robbie Carrico’s boy-band past was mentioned on tonight’s episode of ‘American Idol’.  But what boy band was he in?  He was a member of the boy/girl-band, Boyz-N-Girlz United.  No wonder they let him audition.

Who has actually heard of them?  The album cover doesn’t make the group look any better.

On a positive note there is a photo (see below thumbnail) from a magazine, that states that Robbie once dated Britney Spears.  Boyz-N-Girlz opened for Spears on one of her early European tours.

Backseat Cuddler is reporting that TV stars Zachary Levi (Levy) is dating Christina Applegate. Zachary plays Chuck Bartowski on Chuck.  Applegate stars on Samantha Who? as Samantha.  Zach is nine years younger than Applegate. Both stars grew up as child actors.

Christina is most famous for her role as Kelly Bundy on Married With Children.

Applegate was married to Jonathan Schaech for six years.  Their divorce was finalized in August of last year.

Ethan Hawke has knocked up his former nanny. Hawke and girlfriend, Ryan Shawhughes, are expecting their first baby together. Shawhughes use to be the nanny to Hawke’s two kids with ex-wife Uma Thurman.

There is something to be said for knocking up the nanny. One can bet Uma is having regrets for not hiring the Super Nanny to keep her kids and Ethan in their place. Although, Ethan must have thought Ryan was the Super Nanny, for all the services she could provide, in addition to child care.

Britney Spears went a bit nuclear on manager/creep Sam Lufti today.  She was talking to him like a dog in regard to him letting her drive her own car.

Britney in her best British accent told Lufti:

“I want to drive my f***ing car.”

“Please get out of the f***ing car.”

“Get out of the f***ing car.”
“And you are going to sit right here.”
“Drive my f***ing car is what I gotta do.”

Paris Hilton is starting to receive our ‘Worst Dressed Celeb of the Day‘ honor so often that she might start to challenge Britney Spears record of twelve awards.

FILA, sweatsuits, hot pink, and that hair style all went out in the early 90’s. And what is that on her head? I know FILA pays her mad money to promote their line, but you have to have a bit of self respect at some point.

It looks like Paris is going to a NKOTB concert circa 1991.
