Dr. Phil Decides to Cancel Britney Spears Taping
Psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw has decided to cancel the special taping about Britney Spears’ showdown with police and 5150 hospital stay late last week.
He had planned to devote an hour of his Dr. Phil show to addressing what took place and how to help Britney on Tuesday.
McGraw visited Spears in the hospital at the request of her family members.
“As was widely reported this weekend, at the request of concerned family members, I visited Britney Spears in the hospital. The details of that visit will, of course, remain private,” he said in a message online.”
“Because the Spears situation is too intense at this time, and out of consideration to the family, I have made the decision not to move forward with the taping at this particular time.”
Reportedly Spears was not too happy to see Dr. Phil show up in her hospital room. Then again Britney wasn’t too happy with having to be placed in the hospital under a ‘5150 hold’ in the first place.
