Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is in more hot water over his Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend he spent in Asheville, North Carolina, with Carmen Slowsky.  Kilpatrick is already being investigated for lying under oath in regards to an affair he had with his top aide,  Christine Beatty.

Reports that Kwame Kilpatrick had a woman other than his wife with him at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C., before speaking at the Martin Luther King Prayer Breakfast left event organizers disappointed Friday.

Reportedly, Kwame Kilpatrick and Carmen Slowsky had champagne and a whirlpool bath together at a cost of more than $500.

Kilpatrick is married to Carlita Kilpatrick.  He has been the mayor of Detroit since 2001.

Kwame has been involved in several controversies since being elected.  One of the more famous incidents involved a lewd party, complete with wild strippers, he threw at Manoogian Mansion (Mayor’s Mansion), which is owned by the city.
