Republican Susan Eisenhower Endorses Barack Obama

Susan Eisenhower Endorses Barack ObamaLifelong Republican Susan Eisenhower is endorsing democratic candidate Barack Obama for President.  Eisenhower is the granddaughter of Dwight Eisenhower, the 34th U.S. President.

For someone as novice as Ms. Eisenhower, she comes off sounding extremely naive.  Perhaps she is just wanting a bit of attention these days.  She wouldn’t be getting nearly the press if she had announced she was endorsing John McCain or Mitt Romney.

The past week has been full of celebrities, politicians and newspapers endorsing just two candidates for the most part.  Those two are John McCain for the Republicans and Barack Obama for the Democrats.

McCain likely has the Republican nomination sowed up.  The Democratic nod is going to be a toss up at least for a few more days.  Super Tuesday, this Tuesday, should give us an indication of whether it will be Hillary Clinton or Barack for the Democrats.
