N.Y. Giants Shock The World
The New York Giants shocked the New England Patriots 17-14 to win Super Bowl 42. The Giants were a 13 point underdog.
Quarterback Eli Manning was named MVP of the game. Crank up the endorsements. Now every ad on TV will be Eli and older brother Peyton Manning.
Giants wide receiver David Tyree caught the first touchdown of the game for N.Y. He also caught an acrobatic grab, after a miraculous scramble by Eli, on the final drive to set up the final touchdown.
The Giants defense was the true MVP in holding the Patriots to just 14 points.

Yeah, but the Giants had bright blue helmets, and the other guys had silver/gray helmets. Nathan and I just kind of randomly picked a team and spent the whole time singing “Go Gizzies, Go Gizzies”…probably didn’t sound quite right!
