Kim Mattingly, the estranged wife of baseball great Don Mattingly, was arrested on Saturday at Don’s home when she showed up and refused to leave.

Police arrested 45-year-old Kim Mattingly after being called to the coach’s Indiana home to investigate complaints that she refused to leave the property on Saturday, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The author of the affidavit, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Howard, alleged she smelled of alcohol and screamed at officers.

On Monday, the court granted a restraining order against the woman that Don Mattingly had asked for, citing three incidents in which she had appeared at his home.

Kim was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct to go along with the restraining order.

Don was the star first baseman for the New York Yankees during the 80’s and early 90’s before injuries cut short his career.
