Ex-NFL Player John Grimsley Dies from Gunshot

Former NFL player John Grimsley was found dead by police at his Missouri City home on Wednesday. He was 45-years-old. Police were responding to a 911 call made from the home of Grimsley. He played for the Oilers and Dolphins during a nine season career.
Grimsley, a sixth-round pick in 1984 who played inside linebacker for seven seasons before signing with the Miami Dolphins, died at his Missouri City home. Police said Grimsley died from an apparent accidental gunshot wound.
Grimsley attended Super Bowl XLII and returned from Phoenix on Monday night.
Grimsley was an avid hunter and fisherman who had been around guns since he was growing up in Canton, Ohio. His companies, Wilderness Ventures and World Class Expeditions, required him to travel around the world for hunting and fishing trips.
Grimsley played his college football at the University of Kentucky. He made the Pro Bowl in 1988.
