St. Louis Cardinals utility infielder Scott Spiezio is wanted by cops in Newport Beach on six charges from his arrest back in December. The charges are DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08, hit and run, aggravated assault, and assault & battery.

Spiezio is accused of leaving a bar on December 30, 2007 in Newport Beach, Calif. after a night of heavy drinking. He allegedly drove drunk, crossed several lanes of traffic, drove over a curb and crashed into a fence. Then, we’re told, he fled on foot.

Hopefully the Cardinals will cut their losses by cutting Spiezio. Scott took an absence of several weeks last year from the Cardinals to deal with substance abuse.

The biggest asset Spiezio brought to the team anyway was his smoking hot wife (photo). Scott literally had a full figure tattoo (see this photo) of her, Jennifer Pankratz, on his left bicep.
