MSNBC staffer Jennifer McNamara was tragically killed on Tuesday night when a garbage truck ran into and killed her in New York City.  She was crossing a crosswalk when the truck hit her.

An MSNBC technical operations staffer was struck and killed by a garbage truck on Tuesday night after leaving work, where she’d contributed to MSNBC’s primary night coverage. According to the NYDaily News Jennifer McNamara was struck around 2:30amET while crossing the street at West 50th St. and Seventh Ave., just a block from Rockefeller Center.

McNamara was just 29-years-old.  She was from North Carolina.
