New pictures from the third season of Gene Simmons Family Jewels reality TV show expose Mr. Simmons as being completely bald. The photos show Gene Simmons driving girlfriend-for-life Shannon Tweed around town in their SUV.
Is Gene really bald? Has he been wearing a wig? For how many years? Did he just shave his head? Did the show producers doctor this photo before sending it out? Are they punking the press for ratings?

I don’t think that Gene is totally bald. The picture here is him wearing a bald cap. My opinion is that he wears an extension piece on stage with the ponytail which is like a partial wig to give extra body to his hair. If you look at his face lift pic when he has the puffed face, you can see that his hairline is very receded. When you see him in costume, there is more hair at his forehead and the ponytail looks very well trimmed and neat. Someone told me that the hairpiece on stage is specially designed to be blended in with his real hair and glued on the forehead with gum spirit or a special adhesive. Madonna did that during her Blond Ambition tour. I use a similar technique when I dress up as Gene for my band but it is a real pain in the ass to do and a bitch to get the extension glue out of my hair. If anyone who reads this knows how to work with wigs to make it easier for me to make my hair look more convincing for my dress up please write to me and tell me what you know.
