Amanda Overymer (Mulberry, Indiana) - ‘Back In The U.S.S.R.’

A bit of a shocker as Amanda has been one of the top five or so contestants each and every week. I think she was perhaps a bit too rough and wide for most of the American electorate. She had a hard time opening up and creating warm and cozy feelings with the audience.

Who should have gone home? Kristy Lee Cook or Jason Castro.

Ryan Seacrest also announced this years ‘Idol Mentors’. They will be Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Neil Diamond.
