Grammy Winner Emilio Navaira in Critical Condition

Emilio Navaira, who won a Grammy in 2003 for Best Tejano Album, is in very critical condition after his tour bus crashed on Saturday night near a Houston suburb.
Navaira was one of eight passengers on the bus who were injured, said Houston Assistant Fire Chief Omero Longoria. Navaira was listed in critical condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was being treated in the intensive care unit, said hospital administrator Lisa Lagrone.
More details should be known within the next 24 hours as that time is very critical to knowing how much damage was done and what his odds are of surviving the crash.
Emilio had been playing with his band Rio before the crash. They have produced over a dozen albums to date.
