Barack Obama’s Ill Advised Thoughts on Rural America

Barack Obama is catching a lot of heat for comments he made late last week at a fund raising dinner in San Francisco about Americans from rural and small towns.
“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years. … And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or anti-pathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” - Barack Obama
Will these comments Barack made at a San Francisco fund raiding dinner hurt his chances of becoming President?
