Horror film ‘Scream Queen’ Hazel Court has passed away at the age of 82 at her home in Lake Tahoe, California.  If you don’t remember seeing the actress on film then you probably for sure remember hearing her screams if you have watched any of the classic films of the horror genre.

Court, known for her fearsome shrieks and gruesome on-screen deaths, also starred in The Premature Burial and The Masque of the Red Death.

“She was one of the great beauties of all time,” Walsh said.

“She was a redhead with really green eyes and almost the perfect face. She was on the cover of almost every magazine.”

Court was also an accomplished sculptor and painter as well.
